From left to right - Lou Gehrig, Jackie Mitchell, Joe Engel, and Babe Ruth.  

Jackie Mitchell was the second woman to join a minor league team (The Chatanooga Lookouts) and in her first game, she struck out Ruth and Gehrig.  Her contract was voided a few days later by Commissioner Landis because he thought baseball was “too strenuous” for a woman.
